What the Premium Program actually is
It’s a performance-based track layered on top of the standard FTMO US journey (Challenge → Verification → FTMO Rewards Account). Meet specific conditions and you’re upgraded to Prime; maintain performance at higher scale to reach Supreme. All trading remains in a simulated environment; Rewards are payments for the value of your trading data/services under the Signal Provider Agreement.
Prime status — requirements & benefits
How to qualify for Prime (U.S.)
- No failed FTMO Rewards Account in the last 4 months.
- Complete 4 reward cycles on a single order, each with at least 4% profit from the initial balance (not necessarily consecutive).
| Benefit | What you get | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Reward size | 90% of simulated profit | Higher net on the same edge |
| Max allocation | $600,000 ceiling | Run larger size under the same rules |
| Free Challenge | 1× free FTMO Challenge (size = your approved Rewards Account) | Add allocation at zero purchase cost |
| $400k product unlocked | Available with 10% discount | Direct route to $400k (no need for 2×$200k) |
| Ongoing perks | 10% discount on new purchases; 5% rollover bonus on the next Rewards Account (withdrawable after 30 days) | Compounds savings over time |
Supreme status — requirements & what changes
Eligibility checklist (U.S.)
- No failed FTMO Rewards Account in the last 4 months.
- Hold an active $400k FTMO Rewards Account: either 2×$200k merged or a $400k product purchased in Prime.
- Be active in Prime for at least 3 months and earn 3 additional rewards at ≥4% each (not necessarily consecutive).
| Benefit | What changes | Practical impact |
|---|---|---|
| Allocation ceiling | Up to $1,000,000 | Operate more size within program rules |
| Risk framework | No Maximum Daily Loss | Less day-to-day constraint (still respect other limits) |
| Reward timing | Immediate reward | Smoother cash-flow cadence |
| Extras | Badges/certificates; potential Quantlane pathway (assessment required) | Career signaling & optional institutional route |
Prime vs Supreme at a glance
| Category | Prime | Supreme |
|---|---|---|

| Max allocation | $600k | $1,000,000 |
| Daily risk limit | 5% MDL (standard) | No MDL |
| Unlocks | $400k product (+10% discount); 1× free Challenge; ongoing 10% discounts; 5% rollover bonus | Badges/certificates; potential Quantlane assessment route |

Design your path (U.S.) — a practical plan
- Pass Evaluation cleanly. Respect 5% MDL / 10% ML. Journal setups; keep risk per idea in the 0.25–0.50% band until you’re consistent.
- Log reward cycles deliberately. Request rewards when flat & in profit; aim for 4%+ results per request to build Prime progress.
- Choose $400k path early. Either run 2×$200k and merge to $400k, or unlock the $400k product once you’re in Prime (10% discount).
- Protect Prime tenure. Three months + three additional 4% rewards position you for Supreme. Don’t carry drawdown into review windows.
Common pitfalls (and how to avoid them)
| Pitfall | Why it hurts | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Chasing 4% with oversized risk | Breaches or equity swings reset your momentum | Keep per-trade risk steady; use multi-take-profit to lock gains |
| Wrong merge combo for Supreme | 4×$100k path won’t qualify even when merged to $400k | Plan for 2×$200k merge or buy the $400k product in Prime |
| Progress reset after mixed merge | Merging Prime + Regular resets Supreme progress | Align account statuses before you merge |
| Forgetting reward cadence | Fewer logged rewards delays Prime/Supreme | Schedule “flat & claim” days (bi-weekly or monthly) |
U.S.-specific advantages that help
- News & weekend holds allowed on the U.S. account type — useful for event-driven or swing strategies.
- First reward from Day-14 (from your first trading day in the FTMO Rewards Account) once flat & in profit; typical processing 1–2 business days after invoice confirmation.
- Scaling Plan compatibility: independent from the Premium Program — qualifying can also move you to the 90% reward size and increase the simulated balance by +25% per 4-month cycle when its conditions are met.
FAQs — Premium Program (U.S.)
Do Prime rewards need to be consecutive?
No. The four rewards of ≥4% for Prime (and the three additional ≥4% for Supreme) do not have to be consecutive, but they must be on a single order and meet the other conditions.
Can I reach Supreme with 4×$100k merged to $400k?
No. Supreme requires 2×$200k merged into $400k or a single $400k product purchased in Prime. A 4×$100k path is not eligible.
Is the Premium Program compatible with the Scaling Plan?
Yes. They’re independent. You can earn the 90% reward via Scaling and/or via Prime, and benefits can be enjoyed together.
What documentation will I need for rewards?
For the first payout you’ll submit an IRS W-9 and U.S. bank account ownership proof. Keep them handy to keep processing quick.
What numbers show FTMO’s scale?
FTMO’s website displays 3M+ customers and $400M+ paid in rewards globally with a 4.8 Trustpilot score (site stats).
Ready to push for Prime (then Supreme)?
Run clean reward cycles, plan the right $400k route, and keep equity stable through review windows.
